The story of Everlasting Rock is a story of the grace of God. Everlasting Rock began to take definitive shape in 2020, but its origins date back to 2016. The foundation for Everlasting Rock was initially a social media outreach account called "Letter Us Encourage."

"Letter Us Encourage" began in April 2016 and was a creation of two friends - Ethan Carver and Daniel Fahringer - who were passionate about seeing others grow in their faith. Ethan and Daniel saw a need in the church and they weren't comfortably sitting back. They wanted to see the church encourage others while showing hospitality and accountability.  They wanted to see others grow in their faith while encourage others to do the same. Ultimately, they wanted to see deeply committed Christians who passionately love Christ and love others.

However, by 2018, Letter Us Encourage sat on the shelf due to the demands of life. But in 2020, it once again became apparent that there was a need was for sound biblical teaching and rightly discerning the truth, as many seemed to abandon the Bible for social and political theories. Towards the end of 2020, there was so much content being produced by other believers across many different platforms that it made sense to gather a coalition who would firmly stand on the Everlasting Rock, His Word, and proclaim, "Thus says the Lord." Everlasting Rock began with a mission to proclaim the truth of God's Word to all areas of life. We must stop standing on the sandy beaches of this world, and start living on the Rock.
